Bart Horsten is an Australian-Irish racing driver based in the United Kingdom and is aiming to  compete at the highest level of international motorsports.

In 2022 Bart moved into GT racing after three years as a front runner in single-seaters (British F4  in 2019 and BRDC British F3 in 2020 and 2021), making his debut in the BMW M2 Cup series in  Germany, Austria and Belgium.

With the support of Elegancia Homes, Bart impressed as a rookie on unfamiliar tracks, qualifying  second on his third race weekend with the M2 at the infamous Nurburgring and taking his first  podium a few days later. The following round at the legendary Circuit Spa de Francorchamps  would see Bart lead the field in mixed conditions before sustaining damage from contact with  another car. Bart finished the season strongly at the Hockenheimring where despite mechanical  problems in qualifying forcing him to start down the order, Bart fought through the field to cross  the line third and fourth in the final two races.

Having tasted podium success in the BMW M2 Cup last year, Bart’s goal is to compete in  Germany’s DTM Championship where all the major supercar manufacturers compete in GT3  machinery right across Europe.

In 2024 he is working to secure a drive so he is able to continue his career progression in GTs  and once again compete in Europe.

When not racing Bart is working hard making contacts and gaining experience in the motorsport  industry allowing him to earn a living whilst also sharpening his skills as a driver.

He currently works as a contracted Simulator Driver for Aston Martin F1 at their Silverstone  headquarters where he helps develop the F1 car. He also works for Coach Dave Academy as a  content creator on the simulation software iRacing and is a Driver Coach that has worked with  race winners in the British F4 and GB4 open wheel series as well as young karters making the  transition to single-seater racing.
